External and Internal Shelf Boards
As a complement to our labeling services, we also offer boards made from tough and durable materials, the applications and specifications of which are detailed below.
We can produce markings in any size, color, and graphics. If needed, we can also create mounting holes in the boards. The printing is UV-resistant, which extends visibility during prolonged use. Board solutions are suitable for places where self-adhesive labels may not be suitable.
Foamed PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride):
This material is recommended for making location markings where the application of self-adhesive labels in the form of vertical collective labels with barcodes is not possible (e.g., in forklift passageways between shelves) or in the form of suspended location boards. It has low moisture absorption, allowing for outdoor use, although it is advisable to place them in sheltered areas to avoid exposure to harsh weather conditions. The surface of markings made from foamed PVC is smooth, allowing for uniform and precise placement of graphics, thereby improving code readability.
Available thicknesses: 3 mm and 5 mm
HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene):
Boards made from HIPS material are characterized by increased impact resistance, rigidity, and lightness. Recommended for indoor applications, on shelves, in the form of vertical location markings with barcodes or as suspended boards for the location of specific warehouse sections. This material is excellent for placement in areas where shelves have holes and perforations, in forklift passageways, or where applying horizontal labels is not possible. It works well in forklift traffic areas. The material is waterproof and has low moisture absorption. It stands out for good scratch and dent resistance. Additionally, the material is durable at temperatures up to 70°C and exhibits good insulating properties. It is also suitable for refrigerated environments and can be used in food processing areas. Recommended for indoor applications.
Available thicknesses: 1.5 mm and 2 mm
DIBOND (Composite Panel):
Boards made from this composite material are distinguished by exceptional hardness and rigidity (reinforced with layers of aluminum) while remaining lightweight, with a smooth surface and durability, even in outdoor conditions (high resistance to weather conditions). This material does not delaminate and has very high resistance to scratches and dents.
Available thickness: 3 mm
